To the car’s right is a median that is the end of the parking lot, and some yellow lines because there isn’t enough space for another parking spot.
Also when I parked there was. No one there but when I came out to my car there was a very rusty GMT400 in the spot niece to my car.

I mean, I park lik that. As long as the median isn't used for cart storage or if the spot is reserved for anyone who is disabled.... Why not use it and give yourself alls the space. It also means that if someone parks next to the BMW, they also have alls the space.

That’s acceptable parking - I actively seek out those spots wherever possible.

Completely acceptable! Not being a dick, just shows you care about your car.

I take corner spots at work as much as possible (I mean, corner where there’s a wall, curb, landscaping, snowbank etc. next to me). Then I cozy up to the side without another car because I don’t need to get in/out of my passenger’s side.

Maybe it’s the angle of the photo, but those are like the largest spots ever. Were you in the bus parking lot?

No just a grocery store, but They are pretty generous. You could easy fit a full size pickup in one.
